A woman in California has sold a unique street-legal golf cart that has been designed to look like a Chevrolet Camaro.

The frontage is so well done, that at first glance, you’d be forgiven for thinking it was a salvaged front end from the real deal.

But it’s actually a scaled-down replica that has been expertly crafted to look exactly like a sixth-generation Camaro.

The 2017 EZ GO cart has slick blue paintwork and even comes with the fender badges from a real Camaro.

It looks almost identical to a Chevy Camaro

We’ve seen plenty of weird and wonderful motors over the years, including this oversized bumper car that is somehow street-legal and this 1979 Toyota Corolla that has been converted into a drivable shed

One creative car-lover even managed to stick a motorcycle engine into a child’s toy car to create a Porsche 911 GT3 ‘Power Wheel

But just when you think you’ve seen it all, a Camaro-inspired golf cart turns up on Facebook Marketplace.

The listing for the eclectic cart states that it is completely street-legal and that ‘all working systems operate smoothly’. Which is good to know.

Sadly, the listing doesn’t share any details about who made the cart and why – but whoever it was has done an excellent job.

As well as looking almost identical, the golf cart sits on 14-inch Camaro wheels, which add to the effect.

The golf cart has gone to a new home

However, that’s where its similarities to the iconic muscle car end – it is an electric golf cart, after all.

Fitted with a 48v AC battery, the golf cart has a top speed of around 32km/h (20mph), a lot lower than the 249km/h (155mph) the stock Camaro can do.

But it does come with ‘lots of storage space under the front hood and beneath the seat’, as well as built-in arm rests, integrated seat belts, and a ‘quick mount golf bag holder’.

The seller also noted that the spectacular vehicle had been ‘rarely used’, which seems a shame.

It’s since been snapped up by a new owner, who will hopefully show it off every chance they get.
