A woman has finally taken delivery of her dream car – after an eight-year search.

The woman in question fell in love with the car of her dreams years ago.

And then one day, she discovered said dream car in a shipping container in Japan.

It was found during a torrential storm, and it almost felt as if fate delivered this woman her dream car.

Today’s story is one that will resonate with all car fans across the globe.

And it’s because we have all dreamed of owning our favorite car at one time or another.

That particular dream recently came true for this woman – and the story is unreal.

A few months ago, Emilia Hartford got a tip about a Nissan Silvia S15 in Japan.

The discovery was made with the help of Emelia’s friend, who works at Space Auto – a specialist in JDM imports.

So, Emilia hopped across to Japan – and the documented moment quickly became something special.

As Emelia stood outside the container, soaked and wide-eyed, the doors opened to reveal a time capsule.

Inside was a 1999 Nissan Silvia S15 Spec R, with roughly 52,000 miles on the clock.

It looked like it had been tucked away and forgotten, but not neglected.

The SR20DET turbo engine was completely untouched, unmodified since it left the factory.

For Emilia, this Nissan Silvia S15 was a personal reminder of how far she had come on her journey.

And all of that pretty much catches us up to the present day.

Since that discovery, Emilia has been working on importing her dream car to the United States.

Her latest video showed her dream car finally being brought across the water.

The YouTuber got the joy of cutting the bolt on the shipping container that stored her dream car.

Emilia was finally reunited with her new pride and joy – and she couldn’t be happier.

It’s always cool to see such a feel-good story within the car industry.
