The Nissan Cube is a car that is like no other.
First released in 1998, Nissan’s MPV – a multi-purpose vehicle – certainly turned heads during its 21 years of production.
Now, one woman that owns a Cube of her own has released a video.
And she has pointed out some unique – let’s say – quirks.

Nissan Cube: A square car in a round world
When Nissan first released the Cube, the company was very true to its word.
Many car manufacturers can be a little creative with car names, but – to their credit – the Nissan Cube is literally a cube on wheels.
The Cube came with a 1.3 liter straight engine, so it wasn’t exactly designed to set the world on fire.
However, it was praised and appreciated for it’s fuel economy, safety and practicality.

Despite never being officially sold in the UK, it gained a kind of cult following on both sides of the Atlantic.
Some people chose to import the Cube themselves, due to being such fans of the car.
Cube owner points out quirks of car
Recently, one woman released a video on TikTok discussing the quirks of her cubic car.
The TikTok user, @yuckoline, released the viral video of her car, and had this to say:

“Do you think your car is a little quirky and has, you know, whatever? Let me show you up,” she began.
“I got a little Nissan Cube. None of the windows work, but that’s not what I’m talking about.”
@yuckoline my car auto locks too so the worst is when it gives someone a jumpscare when they are in the car with me…or when i’m going into school and EVERYONE in the parking lot looks at me confused AF…can’t blame them lol #fypシ #fyp ♬ original sound – caroline
“There’s a bullet hole right here underneath this sticker, and it goes through, but again, not what we’re here to talk about.”
After deftly skipping over the origin of said bullet hole and how it found itself in the Cube – if you’re reading, we need answers, please – she then reveals this.
When she locks/unlocks the Cube, the car makes a…farting noise.

I promise you we’re not joking – the car literally farts when it locks/unlocks.
The woman said: “I think I remember the guy telling me my actuator is broken, but I don’t know if that’s a real thing. Love her anyway. She gets me from point A to point B, even if she’s loud.”
A technician in the comments pointed out that it was, indeed, the actuator. However, he advised not to fix it, and to instead appreciate the humour of the farting car.
Frankly, we’re inclined to agree.
