Aviation engineering has reached new highs, and now the world’s fastest civilian aircraft, the Global 8000, could get you across the pond in just five hours.

Gone will be the age of spending half of your day in the air, and it taking a toll on your body, as the jet in question has special abilities to fight jetlag as it occurs.

From lighting systems to wing features, and even air filters, there isn’t much that the business jet doesn’t offer.

Up to 19 passengers can fly on the airplane, and with a conference suite thrown in too, the airplane is set to change the flying sphere for good.

The world’s fastest civilian aircraft makes transatlantic travel easier

Flying from New York to London is one of the most popular routes on the planet, and now it could be made even quicker thanks to this superfast jet, AKA the world’s fastest civilian aircraft.

Meet the Global 8000 from Bombardier, which is quite literally Concorde in a new form.

Discontinued in the early 2000s, the 2020s seem to be providing the best replacement that engineering can conjure up.

Forget the standard seven-hour duration messing up your body clock; now the journey could take less time, leaving you able to beat jet lag quicker than ever before.

But don’t just take our word for it.

The Global 8000 is the world’s fastest business jet since the creation of Concorde, and can reach a top speed of Mach 0.95, according to Bombardier itself.

The Global 8000 is the ‘flagship for a new era’

The range of the world’s fastest civilian aircraft will impress you too, with 8,000 nautical miles on offer alongside the ability to ‘master 30 percent more airports’.

The design of the airplane includes a ‘smooth flex wing’ that lessens turbulence, which will be particularly useful on the New York to London route, straight across the Atlantic.

The cabin is also designed to battle jet lag and strike it down in its path thanks to features including the ‘Soleil lighting system’.

The cabin altitude is just 2,691 feet, and a hospital-grade HEPA filter is used to make sure the air is as clean as possible.

Four living spaces are available on the world’s fastest civilian aircraft, so it really feels like a home on the go, and Starlink abilities mean you can work or stream movies like on any airplane.

All of which means it’s now easier to travel across the pond than ever.
