Not only is Wyclef Jean a musician and actor, he can now add automotive entrepreneur to his resume.

The Haitian-American rapper has unveiled his first luxury electric vehicle – the Attucks Apex AP0.

The lightweight, two-seater sports car was unveiled on Sunday (March 5) at The Amelia Concours D’Elegance.

As one would expect, the Attucks Apex AP0 features an “enhanced music and sound experience.”

It’s said to be capable of “analyzing the driver and playing song selection that best fit the mood for optimal driving experience.”

Nice. Very nice.

Performance wise, the fully-electric Attucks Apex AP0 can rocket from 0-60 mph in just 2.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 190 mph (305 km/h).

It also weighs only 2,646 lb (1,200 kg), meaning it joins the ranks of some of the lightest roadsters currently available.

Sounds pretty epic.

Wyclef comes across as a great guy, so it came as no surprise when we heard about his plans to give back to the Haitian-American community.

His partner, British-born automotive-visionary Elo has already set up in Miami, where he owns an automotive event space called Supercar Rooms Miami.

Business support for the Attucks Apex AP0 will be based out of the South Florida neighborhood of Little Haiti.

Before its official unveiling, Wyclef wiped his Instagram feed leaving only one solitary post about his latest venture.

The post read: “As the Son of immigrants my parents always told me to dream big !!!! So I combined two of my passions and experiences with cars and music and created my dream vision!”

This isn’t the first time a rapper has launched their one car, though.

Last year, will.I.AM teamed up with AMG to create a Mercedes with suicide doors, G-Wagen headlights, and a bear logo on the grille.

Attucks Apex AP0 price

The Attucks Apex AP0 will be available for purchase in later 2024, with a starting price tag of $350,000.
