As a future featuring flying cars draws closer to becoming a reality, the XPeng X2 stands at the forefront with its unmatched charging capabilities.
While there are many eVTOL concepts out there already, the XPeng X2 is a working prototype that recently completed a successful test flight in China.
Supercar Blondie’s Sergi Galiano had the chance to get up close and personal with the eVTOL, admiring its exposed carbon fiber propellers, leather interior, and the hidden button at the front that reveals the flying car’s charging port.
What sets the X2 apart from its competitors is its high-capacity lithium-ion battery, which allows for 35 minutes of flight time with just a three-hour charge.
It’s clear that XPeng is putting all its energy and resources into revolutionizing urban transportation, and if this is the battery capacity of its first prototype, extended flight times are definitely on the horizon.
