After totaling a $6M Bugatti, this guy did what any heartbroken supercar fanatic would do: bought a Lamborghini SVJ to cheer himself up.

Alex, who’s behind the YouTube channel fxalexg, just lost his ultra-rare Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport in a crash.

He’s still waiting to find out whether it’s a total write-off, but in the meantime, the payments keep coming.

With no clue what’s next, he took retail therapy to the extreme.

He crashed a $6M Bugatti, then bought a flame-spitting SVJ to forget it

Alex’s wasn’t just any Bugatti – it was a one-of-60 Chiron Pur Sport, worth an estimated $6 million.

That number might now be one-of-59, after the car was involved in a major crash. No one was hurt, but the emotional and financial fallout hit hard.

Despite not knowing if the car is repairable, Alex says he’s still paying $70,000 a month to finance it – and can’t even look at it, let alone drive it.

So he made the ultimate retail therapy move: he bought himself a brand new Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster.

It’s the lowest-mile SVJ Roadster in the US, picked up with just 500 miles on the clock. “Unheard of,” he says.

And because Alex doesn’t do stock, he immediately spent $60,000 on mods – custom wheels, lowered suspension, a new tune, and flame-spitting exhaust included.

He’s dubbed it the ‘Set and Forget’ edition, with the label proudly stamped on the Lambo, joining the theme of his other builds.

Even though he admits the Bugatti was one of his crown jewels, Alex says the SVJ might suit him more.

“Honestly, I like it better,” he says, adding: “I guess that had to happen for me to get this.”

A $6M lesson in damage control… and moving on

As the Bugatti sits awaiting its fate, Alex’s focus has shifted.

He’s throwing his energy into content, trading, and – most importantly – his freshly tuned SJV. It’s not just a car: it’s therapy, spectacle, and a full-blown showpiece.

That flame-spitting Lamborghini has already become a staple in his life and socials.

The SJV also completes a vision – his whole fleet is going Nardo Gray, from his GT3 RS to the lifted truck. Now, the Lamborghini slots in perfectly: flashy, fast, and fire-breathing.

The $6M Bugatti may have gone down, but Alex? He’s not out. If anything, he’s just revving up.
