YouTuber who quit his job to rebuild cars now has so many he's built his dream supercar workshop

This YouTuber quit his job to rebuild cars, and now he has his own supercar workshop.

It’s quite sizable, and it’s also, in a way, his home away from home.

Partly because he’d spend most of his time in his workshop anyway, but also because it literally has home amenities, including a kitchen where he can prepare food.

Speaking of things that are being prepared, the first workshop project is probably going to be a McLaren.

The plan behind this supercar workshop

Mat Armstrong talked about his new workshop in a video he posted to his second channel, Mat Armstrong Mk2.

Like most YouTubers, Armstrong began filming videos as a hobby.

But he eventually quit his full-time job to turn it into his new occupation.

He then spent the next few years reinvesting most of his money to improve his channel, and of course, in the workshop we see here.

Armstrong said the workshop will include a space for his merchandise, a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and racing simulators.

He said he aims to employ around six or seven people in the shop.

If everything goes to plan, the first car to roll off the – figurative – assembly line will be a McLaren.

A YouTuber who specializes in rebuilding supercars

Mat Armstrong’s channel mostly focuses on buying totaled supercars and rebuilding them.

He’s been doing this for a while but his channel truly exploded in recent times, and it was mostly because of one video, which then led to a series of similar videos.

This is is the guy who famously bought Marcus Rashford’s Rolls-Royce, fixed it for about half the price, and then drove it back to Mansory when the company got involved.

He also did something similar with a Porsche GT3 RS and a classic BMW.

So we can’t wait to see what Armstrong has in mind for the McLaren!
