San-Francisco-based Graffeo Coffee converted a 1984 Ferrari 308 into a traveling coffee shop, and we like it a latte.
The traveling coffee shop combines two of Italy’s great loves: good coffee and Ferraris.
The trunk of the Ferrari 308 has been equipped with a commercial-grade espresso machine, making it one of the most unusual coffee shops out there.
And there’s actually a pretty sweet story about how it came about.

The world’s fastest coffee shop all started as a joke
It all began when Walter Haas bought Graffeo Coffee and discovered that its previous owner, 81-year-old Luciano, had a real passion for fast cars.
Luciano particularly liked Ferraris and Alfa Romeo, which he proudly used to drive in his younger years.
This gave Haas an unusual, but very cool, idea.

“Long story short, I was talking with my creative team and we were just saying, wouldn’t it be funny if we bought a Ferrari and pulled espresso shots from the trunk?” he told Supercar Blondie earlier this year.
Although initially meant to be a bit of a joke, the idea refused to go away, so Haas went through a list of Luciano’s favorite cars and attempted to find one for sale.
As luck would have it, he soon managed to track down a Ferrari 308 being sold locally.
He snapped it up and wasted no time in kitting it out with a commercial-level espresso machine in the trunk.

To make sure it’s ready to serve, the car has a water tank in the front trunk with pumps that run through to the coffee machine.
“We can literally pull up with this car, pop the trunk, and pull a shot,” Haas explained.
But as well as making a mean cup of coffee, the 1984 Ferrari 308 is still a fully functioning vehicle, complete with a V8 engine and a top speed of 158mph.
The Ferrari 308 made an impact at the 2025 Concorso Italiano
The Ferrari coffee-mobile made an appearance at Concorso Italiano during the 2025 Monterey Car Week.
The 1984 Ferrari 308 was proudly displayed alongside other Ferraris, Maseratis, Lamborghinis, and more.

But it grabbed attention for more than just its good looks.
The one-off vehicle was used to help keep the crowd of car lovers fueled up with shots of espresso served directly out of the trunk.
Bellissimo!
