It might just be the most iconic single-seat aircraft to ever come from the UK, and 80 years after it was first made, this Spitfire has showcased that there’s life in the old dog yet.

While the UK is hailed for much of the aircraft industry, with Rolls-Royce engines powering Airbus carriers like the Beluga, arguably the country’s best aviation feat is the Spitfire.

Used by the RAF – and recently a 102-year-old former pilot – the fighter aircraft is known for its signature looks, with striped paint and bullseye decals, and is still loved by millions of fans.

While most are now grounded, one, captured in the video above, has taken to the skies again and showcased how the old beauty can still gracefully slice through the air with sharp turns. Check it out above!
