This is the all-new Acura Precision EV Concept.

It has sharp angles, pillarless doors and a futuristic interior.

With this concept, Acura wants to change the way you think about the brand.

The Acura Precision EV Concept is hugely important for two reasons.

First of all, it’s the brand’s long-awaited first-ever electric vehicle.

Secondly, it serves as a platform to show the world what future Acuras will look like.

The first thing that stands out is the absence of the front grille.

Technically you don’t need one because unlike gas cars, EVs don’t need air to feed the engine or to cool it off.

Visually, the shape of the front grille can completely alter your first impression when looking at the car.

Acura has decided to tackle the issue by giving it a ‘fake’ front grille characterized by geometric shapes that complement the slim headlamps.

As you can see from the pictures, the brand will still stay true to itself with sharp lines and angles.

From 2024, all new cars from the brand will be electric, and they will follow this design language.

The cabin features a driver-centric dashboard with a digital instrument cluster and three screens.

There’s one right in front of the driver and another to the right for the sat-nav and the infotainment system.

In addition to that, there’s an elongated screen in front of the passenger, relaying information about the trip.

The passenger can also fiddle with the infotainment system and climate control.

Even though it’s an SUV, the pillarless doors and the swooping lines make it look a bit more stylish and interesting.

If you happen to be in Monterey, California, you can check out Acura’s all-electric SUV in person at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

These are all the coolest cars that will be released at Monterey Car Week 2022.
