Adidas has just announced the X Crazyfast Bugatti boots.

You might be surprised to learn that Bugatti’s latest offering of impeccable design and cutting-edge technology is not a car

It’s a football boot.

The French car manufacturer teamed up with Adidas to design the ultimate in sports footwear.

And it’s as exclusive as one of its cars.

This isn’t the first time Adidas has collaborated with industry leaders for its X Crazyfast range.

Previous releases include a collab with Prada and even a pair designed by Lionel Messi.

This time, the sportswear brand decided to bring in even bigger guns.

The X Crazyfast Bugatti boots are designed around the characteristics that define the Bugatti luxury cars.

These include innovation, speed and uniqueness.

The boots feature a carbon fiber inlay in tribute to the material used in making the Chiron.

What makes the Chiron so fast is its W16 engine.

For this boot, it’s the Speedframe sole plate technology, which is ultra-light but also provides a rigid plate for acceleration.

It also carries the Aerocage, which is a lining that hugs the mid-foot, providing stability and support.

Then there’s the single layer of breathable monomesh, built for speed.

Any Bugatti fan worth their salt will recognise the shade of blue used.

It’s Bugatti Blue, inspired by the color of the company’s early Grand Prix models.

The boot carries two inspiring phrases.

One is the Adidas motto “Impossible is nothing”.

The other reads “Create the incomparable”, a reference to the unparalleled craftsmanship of Bugatti.

“X Crazyfast is meticulously crafted for speed and performance for a game that demands players move and react faster than ever,” Nick Craggs, Adidas Football’s general manager said.

“By uniting these two iconic brands, we’ve once again pushed the boundaries of boot design to create something truly unique that both looks incredible and helps players at all levels to be their best.”

Even the box the Adidas X Crazyfast Bugatti comes in has been carefully thought out.

The design is inspired by weaves of carbon fiber, which Bugatti’s hypercars are made from.

To ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to grab a pair, they will be available by auction.

The auction will run from 8 November for four days.

Bugatti is famous for its small production runs.

This venture is no different, with only 99 pairs being made.
