The most beautiful car, the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, drew major attention at Monterey Car Week during its U.S. debut.
Originally revealed in 2023, the limited-production coupe is a modern interpretation of the 1967 Tipo 33 Stradale.
Only 33 cars were built, and every one of them was allocated before the first customer delivery.
Its arrival in California gave the public a rare chance to see why this 33 Stradale has become one of the most significant Alfa Romeo models in recent history.

Monterey’s most beautiful car
At Monterey Car Week, the 33 Stradale was shown at Pebble Beach, Motorlux, and The Quail.
Each event placed the car alongside some of the most celebrated models in automotive history.
It also appeared at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, where it completed demonstration laps that highlighted the connection between Alfa Romeo and motorsport.
The 33 Stradale follows the shape and proportions of its 1967 namesake, while incorporating modern engineering.

Owners traveled to Alfa Romeo’s museum in Arese, Italy, to complete custom configurations, ensuring no two cars are the same.
Two powertrains are offered. One uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 producing 620 horsepower through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The other is a fully electric version with three motors generating 750 horsepower and a 90-kWh battery capable of about 280 miles on a charge.

Both can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than three seconds and reach a top speed of 207 mph.
Pricing was not disclosed, though reports suggest each car cost around €1.7 million, or about $1.8 million.
Among the confirmed American buyers is Texas entrepreneur Glynn Bloomquist, who completed his configuration in 2024.
The car’s scarcity and price point have already made it an instant collectible.
Alfa Romeo’s next chapter
The most beautiful car signals Alfa Romeo’s return to the world of supercars.
The company continues to sell high-volume models like the Stelvio and Tonale, yet the 33 Stradale shows a clear interest in limited projects designed for collectors.
By offering both combustion and electric powertrains, Alfa Romeo has positioned the 33 Stradale to reflect current shifts in the industry.

Analysts point out that the success of this project could lead to more small-scale production runs, possibly reviving other classics.
The 33 Stradale’s debut at Monterey Car Week confirmed its reputation as the most beautiful car in the world.
With only 33 units built, it has already secured a place as one of the most exclusive modern Italian supercars, combining heritage, performance, and rarity in equal measure.
