A British YouTuber has stumbled upon a pair of genuinely gorgeous Alfa Romeo sports cars while walking around an abandoned farm.

YouTuber IMSTOKZE discovered a variety of cars on the farm, including four Land Rover Freelanders and an old Saab.

However, the highlight was a pair of Alfa Romeo GTVs, which included the very desirable GTV6 2.5.

Despite being undiscovered and undercover for more than 20 years, both Alfa Romeos suffered poorly from rust.

The two Alfa Romeos lie abandoned in a dilapidated barn

The video centers on the Alfa Romeos, with the YouTuber dedicating a lot of time to the cars.

The pair sat in a barn surrounded by all sorts of junk, including some alloy wheels for a Vauxhall.

The GTV6 2.5, first introduced in 1980, was the main attraction for the YouTuber.

Sadly, while protected from the worst of the weather, rust had eaten away at the GTV6.

The rear section behind the bumper was a rusted playground, with a gaping hole showing how badly it affected the car.

The interior of the car also suffered, with wiring ripped out and dirt covering the floor.

The second Alfa Romeo in a similar condition

Walking around to the second Alfa Romeo GTV in the barn revealed a similar story.

Dirt and grime covered the cabin, although the wiring wasn’t as messy.

Neither of the cars have been on the road since at least the mid-2000s and have been sitting unloved for roughly 20 years.

Alfa Romeos of this era are notoriously susceptible to rust, making any possible restoration project a truly daunting task.

It’s not uncommon for the Italian thoroughbreds to be found in this condition if they have sat around for a long time.

To see a car of the GTV6’s pedigree in this state is a somber affair.

The GTV6 2.5 was in production until 1987, spawning a successful touring car version that won the European Touring Car Championship from 1982 to 1985.

In total, Alfa Romeo produced 22,380 GTV6 2.s over an eight-year run.
