Apple CarPlay is set to up the ante even more with the new iOS 26 update

Apple CarPlay is stepping up its game with the brand-new iOS 26 update.

CarPlay is loved by many iPhone users all over the world as an easy way to play music and use apps when on the road.

But now, things are about to get even more interesting as a highly requested feature is set to come to life.

When keeping up to date with messages, many of us like to react to text with functions such as a thumbs up or a heart; however, previously, this has not been a possibility with Apple CarPlay.

But that’s all set to change as iOS 26 arrives.

Reportedly, reacting by using tapbacks is going to be available far and wide for iPhone users to use on the go.

But that’s not all, as alongside this drivers will also be able to pin conversations.

“iOS 26 also brings Tapbacks and pinned conversations to Messages in CarPlay, and with widgets and Live Activities, users can stay in the loop without losing focus on the road,” Apple explained in a press release.

Apple is a car’s dream partner

When it comes to dominating the tech sphere, Apple knows its stuff.

From continuous iPhone releases to watches and computers, the company’s creativity knows no bounds.

Paired with car models too, Apple’s tech features make many drivers’ cabin experiences next level.

For example, one driver was so impressed with the system that she showed off her incredible custom Apple CarPlay within her Chevrolet.

Plus, you can’t miss taking a look at this new Apple tech that takes over your entire car and it starts with Aston Martin.
