Apple has confirmed how much it’ll cost to replace the iPhone Air battery, as well as various other repairs, including a cracked screen.

Last week, Apple unveiled the eagerly awaited iPhone 17, following months of speculation.

Alongside the release of the latest generation iPhone, the tech giant also announced the iPhone Air.

And now the company has revealed how much it will cost to repair or replace the iPhone Air battery.

Cost to replace the iPhone Air battery

Upon its launch, Apple hailed the iPhone Air as the thinnest and most durable iPhone ever released.

So much so that Apple execs have even challenged people to try and bend it to really put its durability to the test.

However, if you do happen to break it or need to replace the iPhone Air’s battery, Apple has now confirmed how much you’ll need to fork out.

Apple has held the price of replacing a battery in the US, meaning whether you have an iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, or iPhone Air, you’ll be looking at a flat fee of $119.

The company also shared the cost for other common repairs for the iPhone Air:

  • Broken front screen – $329
  • Back glass damage – $159
  • Cracked front screen and back glass damage – $419
  • Rear camera damage – $169
  • Other damage – $699

It’s important to note that all of these prices are out of warranty repair fees.

If you opt for AppleCare+ coverage, the fees are a lot lower, ranging from $29 to $99 per incident for all models, including the new iPhone Air.

iOS 26 is here – here’s what to expect

After three months of beta testing, Apple iOS 26 is here and available on the iPhone 11 and up

As ever, it includes a bunch of new features, including lock screen enhancements and AutoMix.

It also comes with a new ‘Liquid Glass’ design that gives the menus, buttons, and icons a neat ‘translucent’ look.

iMessages have also had some new improvements, including customized backgrounds for chats, the ability to create in-chat polls, and Apple Cash so you can easily split bills with pals. Handy.

Oh and CarPlay is set to get some updates, too, with the Liquid Glass design now on your car’s display screen.

Also, for the first time ever, CarPlay will give you the option to respond to messages with standard ‘Tapbacks’ like a thumbs up or a heart emoji.
