Apple recently released iOS 26, and there’s one iPhone feature that we simply have to delve into.

The tech giant launched the operating system just weeks ago, but its new capabilities have already taken the mobile world by storm.

One new app is perfect for people on the move, or those who don’t own a laptop.

It seems simple to use, too, with the tech company offering some handy guidance.

New iOS 26 feature that will save users time and energy

“The Preview app is now available on iPhone, so you can easily view, edit, and share PDF documents and images.

“Scan documents from within Preview, use Autofill in Preview to quickly fill out forms, and export PDFs and images as different file types or sizes,” stated Apple itself.

The new preview allows iPhone users to export and scan documents without the need to use any form of iMac or MacBook, which, you have to admit, is very useful for tasks on the move.

You can also highlight text, protect the PDF documents with a password, and even fill out PDF forms.

Exporting a document can be done in a few easy steps – all you have to do is save it to your files, rename it, and share it.

Scanning is easy too, with your iPhone camera doing most of the hard work for you, alongside editing photos and adding signatures and text boxes.

Further iOS 26 updates

iPhones are high-tech pieces of equipment. Like any device, though, the software system needs updating for it to run smoothly.

So, when iOS 26 was released, iPhone users couldn’t help but get excited about new features such as improved incident reports on Apple Maps, rivaling competitors like Google and Waze.

In fact, earlier this month, to keep things top-notch for Apple users, the company released the first update to iOS 26, fixing important issues.
