Apple iPhone owners have been left surprised after someone spotted a small design flaw that’s impossible to miss once you’ve seen it.

The first-generation Apple iPhone was released back in 2007 and was hailed as ‘revolutionary’.

Apple was praised for the design, and it went on to win a slew of awards.

However, one eagle-eyed user has recently spotted a small flaw that appears to have gone unnoticed.

Someone has spotted a small design flaw on the iPhone

Since it was launched back in 2007, Apple has sold more than three billion iPhones across the globe.

Last month, the tech giant unveiled its latest models, including the Apple iPhone 17 and the iPhone Air, which have been hailed as the thinnest and most durable iPhone ever

Alongside the new handsets, Apple launched the new iOS 26 operating system, but one eagle-eyed user has already spotted a teeny tiny flaw.

Posting on the iPhone subreddit, the iPhone owner said they had noticed that the white circle, which contains the speaker icon when you’re on a call, isn’t perfectly round.

The icon has a small indentation on the top left-hand side, which kind of makes it look as though someone has drawn it by hand.

OK, OK, so it’s not exactly a major flaw, but it’s still an interesting miss from Apple, right?

As you might have guessed, the comments on the post were pretty tongue in cheek, with some users joking that it was enough to make them return their new iPhone 17, while another branded it ‘unacceptable’.

Another user pointed out that it was simply a case of ‘no one noticing’ it and suggested that it would ‘never’ be picked up in UI testing.

iOS 26 has some cool features that have gone under the radar, too

Aside from the small error with the speaker icon, the updated iOS 26 has got some super cool new features that have gone under the radar

Features such as the new ‘Liquid Glass’ appearance generated plenty of buzz online, but Apple has also made a bunch of other improvements you may have missed.

The tech giant has now given users the ability to copy just parts of a message rather than the whole bubble, while there have also been improvements to incident reports on Maps.

The new operating system will also automatically pause music in your AirPods when you’re asleep, and there’s a handy lens cleaning hint that can be turned on in settings to ensure your snaps never turn out blurry again.
