The Aston Martin DB9 takes the crown when it comes to timeless classics in the car world.
From its automatic gearbox to its hand-finished bodywork and impressive V12, the 2007 model has stood the test of time.
Now, one content creator has revealed what it’s actually like to take it for a standard daily drive.
High Peak Autos has made up his mind after driving it around the streets of Queensland.
The Aston Martin DB9 – a marvel of British design
Aston Martin has made a name for itself as one of the most luxurious brands in the auto industry.
But what is the DB9 like to drive on a day-to-day basis?

First unveiled in 2003, the luxury car has been turning heads for decades now.
This creator described it as ‘one of the most beautiful cars ever made’ and got to work exploring just what makes the model so special.
“I love the fact that it is so sophisticated and elegant, it doesn’t try too hard, it just is,” explained High Peak Autos.
The design features the iconic long hood and mean-looking rear – making it stand out from other GTs on the market.

The interior is equally as impressive with a ‘timeless masterpiece’ feel featuring leather, suede and wood.
Under the hood of the Aston Martin DB9, the six-liter V12 engine is able to produce 450 hp according to the driver, which means the naturally aspirated power is smooth yet mighty.
According to the gearhead, the engine also makes the most glorious ‘V12 howl’, and proves to be one of the winning elements.
The results are in – was it a good daily driver?
After testing out the Aston Martin, the creator had lots of praise for the sports car.
At first, his feelings were mixed due to the build quality and ‘hand-built’ feel; however, we should note that at almost two decades old, the car was still on top of its game.
He explained that the ride wasn’t quite what he expected, as it was more natural and raw rather than polished.

However, for High Peak Autos, the positives trumped the negatives, with a ‘wonderful’ hydraulic steering system, gear selectors, and lashings of room making all the difference.
The car didn’t feel heavy and was described as ‘the sort of car that makes you take the long way home’.
Just watch out for a few issues throughout ownership, such as corrosion, condensation, and the dashboard shrinking.
Plus, for those across the pond, this could be your ticket into Aston Martin ownership with the DB9 available for as little as £20,000 ($26,000).
With Santa soon set to visit, this could top your Christmas list this year.
