An Aston Martin that appeared on Dynasty is going up for sale, and its television appearance is only a short chapter in its fascinating story.
This 1981 Aston Martin started off life heading to Bijan Pakzad, a fashion designer living in Beverly Hills.
After featuring in the iconic Dynasty television series, it became a longtime resident at the Petersen Automotive Museum.
Now it’s going up for auction over on SBX Cars – and it could be yours.

Here’s what you need to know about the Aston Martin that featured in Dynasty
This car’s history reads like a glittering profile in old-school class and glamour.
Completed at the Newport Pagnell Works back in 1980, this 1980 Aston Martin V8 Volante Series 2 was finished in Storm Red and boasts Natural Tan leather seats.
Its first owner was a Beverly Hills fashion designer, and you don’t get much more glamorous than that.

But appearing on Dynasty is certainly a valiant effort to upstage that.
Anyone old enough to remember the soap that ran between 1981 and 1989 will recall how it was dripping in opulence.
That, and a whole lot of drama and high fashion.
To commemorate its time as a pop culture phenomenon, there’s a gold plaque on the car’s console.
After decades in the possession of Pakzad, the car was gifted to the Petersen Automotive Museum, where it was displayed through 2008.

This triumph of British craftsmanship is elegant, it’s smooth, and it’s in impeccable condition.
Simply put, it’s Aston Martin at its absolute best.
And that’s already a really high bar – look at what Gordon Ramsay is driving around London these days.
In fact, London is awash in fancy Aston Martins if this ultra-rare specimen is anything to go by.
