A rare one-of-500 2012 Lexus LFA with just 10,000 miles on the clock has gone up for sale and it’s an absolute dream for a collector.
Lexus began developing the LFA in early 2000, with an initial prototype completed three years later.
The car finally went into production in 2010, with Lexus building just 500 units over two years.
Now, one of them has just gone up for sale in New Mexico, and it’s in great condition.

The rare 2012 Lexus LFA has had just one-owner
Powered by a V10 engine that produces more than 530hp, the Lexus LFA combines blistering performance with sleek good looks.
Its beefy engine matched with an aerodynamic design means it can hit 0-60mph in just 3.6 seconds and has a maximum speed of 202mph.

To keep the car as exclusive as it is impressive, Lexus produced just 500 units.
With so few made, getting your hands on one today isn’t an easy task, but a great condition one-owner example has just gone up for sale in Albuquerque.
The Pearl Red 2012 Lexus LFA is the 199th model to roll off the production line.
The LFA is in great condition, with the carbon-composite bodywork looking fresh.
It sits on polished 20 inch forged BBS alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires measuring 265/35 up front and 305/30 at the rear.
Inside, there’s a cream leather interior with power-adjustable seats, a Mark Levinson sound system, a back-up camera, and a Lexus Insider infotainment system with voice command and navigation.

It also comes with a Tumi luggage set, a car cover, and original windowsticker and literature that came with the LFA.
The car has just 10,000 miles on the clock and has clearly been well-looked after and maintained by its owner.
At the time of the writing, the car had attracted a top bid of $601,000.
The LFA can fetch an impressive price at auction
When released the Lexus LFA had a base price of $375,000, but due to their rarity and desirability they can sell for a lot more than a decade on.
Recently, a white example, number 205 of 500, was listed on Bring A Trailer.
The car had 4,400 miles on the clock and sold for $800,000.
Back in 2021, a 7,000-mile LFA sold for $725,000, so it’ll be interesting to see how much the Pearl Red example above sells for when the hammer falls.
