Ex-F1 star Daniel Ricciardo has put his barely driven Aston Martin Valkyrie up for sale, offering collectors the chance to own one of the rarest hypercars ever built.

Maintained in pristine condition with only 160 kilometers (99 miles) on the odometer, the car has remained in Ricciardo’s private collection since new.

Just 150 road-going examples of the Valkyrie were produced, making this a true automotive unicorn.

With its Formula One-inspired engineering and bespoke Ricciardo specification, chassis number 089 is expected to spark strong interest among enthusiasts and investors alike.

A bespoke car commissioned by Daniel Ricciardo

Originally codenamed ‘Nebula,’ the Aston Martin Valkyrie is a one-of-a-kind hypercar.

It emerged from a groundbreaking collaboration between Aston Martin, Red Bull Advanced Technologies, and legendary F1 designer Adrian Newey.

The goal was audacious: to create a road-legal hypercar that could deliver performance on par with endurance prototypes.

The result was a carbon-fiber monocoque weighing just 1,270 kg (2,800lbs), powered by a Cosworth-built 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 paired with a hybrid KERS system.

Together, they produce a staggering 1,160 brake horsepower, achieving a near-mythical 1:1 power-to-weight ratio (in kilograms).

Chassis 089 was commissioned new by the former F1 star through Aston Martin Monaco and personalized via the brand’s ‘Q’ bespoke division.

The car wears a stunning Dichroic Dawn finish, nicknamed ‘Badger Blue’ in tribute to Ricciardo’s famous ‘Honey Badger’ moniker.

This is complemented by matching roof strakes and wheel centers.

Among its highlights are Magnesium Performance Wheels, exposed satin carbon hardware, gloss lacquer carbon panels, and bespoke Alcantara-trimmed bucket seats.

In total, Ricciardo specified £141,500 ($190,000) in options, ensuring his Valkyrie is one of the most strikingly detailed builds of the limited production run.

A dream collector’s item

This Aston Martin Valkyrie has also been meticulously maintained.

It recently received Aston Martin’s comprehensive 24-month service and comes with an extended-warranty package, valid through August 2027.

The program includes additional scheduled support extending through 2029, a rare benefit for potential buyers of such an exclusive machine.

The former F1 star, who amassed eight Grand Prix wins during his 14-year Formula 1 career, has long been celebrated for his aggressive overtakes and fearless driving style.

Now, one of his most personal automotive possessions is available on the open market.

Whether you’re a fan of Daniel Ricciardo, an admirer of Aston Martin’s engineering skills, or both, this is your chance to get your hands on a truly unique car.
