The Holy Trinity of Ferrari XX models is about to go under the hammer in Switzerland, and all three cars are expected to fetch a fortune at auction.
All three are owned by the same collector, and all three are Ferrari XX models.
This means they’ve never been driven on the road.
According to the auction house, they might end up selling for over $14 million.

These Ferrari XX models are expected to fetch a fortune at auction
These three Ferraris are part of the so-called Tailored for Speed collection that’s going to be available from RM Sotheby’s in Switzerland.
The collection comprises 42 vehicles in total.
However, these are the three cars that stand out, and that’s for two very good reasons.

First, they’re super rare, and they hardly ever appear for sale.
You don’t get to see the Holy Trinity of Ferrari XX models every day.
And second, very few collectors in the world were allowed to buy multiple XX models.
This tells us this collector probably has Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna on speed dial.
Known as the ‘Full Set’, the trio of supercars includes a 2009 Ferrari FXX Evoluzione, a 2012 Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione, and the 2016 Ferrari FXX K Evoluzione.
All three are painted in the same shade of blue.

According to RM Sotheby’s, they’re likely to sell for $4.6 million, $3.5 million, and $5.6 million, respectively.
So that’s about $14 million in total.
Also, we should point out that bidders at the auction in Switzerland will be able to acquire each car individually, but this is a unique chance to grab all three at the same time, so we wouldn’t be surprised if all three ended up in the hands of the same buyer.
About the XX Programme
The XX Programme was launched exactly 20 years ago, in 2005.
It is essentially a homologation and development program that also involves clients, which is nice.
Even though the one above is considered the Holy Trinity of Ferrari XX models, there have actually been six XX cars in total so far, and all six are enhanced variants of street-legal counterparts.
With one exception, they’re all track-only vehicles that can’t be driven on the road.

The first and second XX – the FXX and FXX Evoluzione – were both based on the Ferrari Enzo.
Then there were the 599XX and 599XX Evo, both based on the 599, and the FXX-K, based on the LaFerrari.
The latest XX car, which is also the first road-legal XX car, was introduced in 2023, and it’s based on the SF90 Stradale.

For years, there was this rumor that Ferrari would apparently allow you to buy an XX car, but then you’d have to keep at the factory in Maranello and Ferrari would charge you for it.
But this was actually a myth, and it’s been debunked.
So even though they can’t drive them on the road (apart from the SF90 XX), buyers are free to store them wherever they like.
