A super rare 1993 Lamborghini Diablo Evolution GTR is going up for sale at auction, giving one lucky buyer the chance to get their hands on a real piece of automotive history.
Lamborghini launched the Diablo, a successor to the Countach, back in 1990.
The stunning supercar made a big impression on Swiss importer Roland Affolter, who decided to commission a run of 10 special editions.
Now, one of them is set to go under the hammer.

You could get your hands on a one-of-10 Lamborghini Diablo Evolution GTR
The Lamborghini Diablo is a true icon.
From 1990 to 2001, Lamborghini built 2,903 examples.

However, this 1993 Lamborghini Diablo Evolution GTR is a different beast entirely.
Commissioned by Swiss Lamborghini importer Affolter in the 1990s, the Lamborghini Diablo Evolution GTR is a very special special edition.
With only 10 made, the car is as rare as it is beautiful.
This example, which is set to go under the hammer in November, is finished in Viola paint and has a blue Alcantara interior.
Under the hood, you’ll find the same 5.7-liter V12 you’d get on a stock standard Diablo, which offers up to 485 horsepower.
However, unlike the standard version, the Evolution GTR has improved aerodynamics with changes made to the headlights and roof, as well as an even larger wraparound spoiler.
Although more than a couple of decades old, the 1993 Lamborghini Diablo Evolution GTR is in great shape. It has just 21,107 miles on the clock and has received regular services from Lamborghini.
The car is expected to sell for a lot of money
If you fancy getting your hands on the 1993 Lamborghini Diablo Evolution GTR, it is headed to auction at Broad Arrow Auctions on 1 November.

But you’ll need deep pockets if you want to add it to your collection.
The auction house expects it to go for between $440,000 and $560,000.
However, given the enduring popularity of the Lamborghini Diablo, and the fact that this is a very rare example, the final sale price could even end up higher.
