The first-ever Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang has reappeared for the first time in 17 years, and it’s set to go under the hammer soon.
The Bugatti Veyron went into production in 2005 and is one of the fastest production vehicles ever made.
In total, Bugatti built just 450 units, including some very special special editions, like the Pur Sang.
Only five Bugatti Veyron Pur Sangs were ever made, and now the first-ever example is headed to auction.

The world’s first Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang is up for sale
The Bugatti Veyron is one of the world’s most desirable and collectible cars out there, and while any of the 450 models built is a real treasure, there’s something extra special about the Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang.
With just five ever made, the Pur Sang are the only Veyron models not to be finished in paint.

Instead, the exterior is made up of exposed carbon fiber with highly-polished mirror-finish aluminum.
Not only does this make the car stand out from the crowd, it also shaves just shy of 200 pounds of the Veyron’s curb weight, giving it an even better power-to-weight ratio.
On the subject of power, the Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang is fitted with an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine, which is able to produce an eye-popping 987hp and has a top speed of more than 250mph.
The Veyron has a 0-60mph time of just 2.5 seconds and can hit a standing quarter-mile in 10.1 seconds.
Inside, the shining exterior is complemented by a chic grey and beige leather interior and a turned aluminum center console.
This one has the chassis number 1 and was originally snapped up by a car enthusiast in Germany before being sold to someone in Switzerland in 2010.

It ended up with its current and third owner in 2018, and is now set to go under the hammer at RM Sotheby’s.
As you’d expect, the car is in excellent condition and has just 4,740 miles on the clock.
The Bugatti is expected to sell for a hefty price at auction
Its upcoming sale is a chance for one lucky buyer to get their hands on a true piece of automotive history.
But if you fancy adding it to your collection, then you’ll need deep pockets.
The auction house has placed a valuation of between $2,100,000 and $2,550,000.
