Audi’s ring-less AUDI brand has added a second EV model as its China-only lineup grows, and the latest reveal shows the company is doubling down on its China-first strategy.
The new model is called the E SUV concept, and it arrives just shortly after the E5 Sportback kicked off the lineup.
This fresh addition confirms that AUDI, written in all capital letters without the iconic four-ring logo, is expanding quickly in response to the country’s booming EV market.
It also begins a major shift for Audi as it builds a new identity designed specifically for its Chinese customers.

What’s Audi’s ring-less AUDI brand?
Most people know the iconic four-ring Audi logo, but in a move to create more vehicles in its China-first EV strategy, the luxury car brand is simplifying it.
Instead of the four rings, the Chinese version has the word AUDI screaming across the luxury EV’s nose.

This is the second vehicle in the lineup, following hot in the tire tracks of the E5 Sportback, but the E SUV concept seems more sci-fi in vibes than the understated look with the classic brand.
That means sleek camera mirrors, C-shaped lights, flush handles, and a roof-mounted LiDAR unit that looks ready for a robot takeover.

The second EV in the lineup
The new E SUV model packs a powerful dual motor setup, with All Wheel Drive traction and an alleged five-second sprint from zero-to-100kmh.
A big battery supplied more than 700 kilometers of range, and ultra-fast charging can add up to 320 kilometers in 10 minutes.

Production will start in 2026, and pricing will cost more than the E5 Sportback, which currently starts around $33,000, but it’s shaping up to be one of the most feature-packed models in Audi’s China-first strategy.
With the E5 Sportback and this new E SUV concept, AUDI now has a steadily growing lineup built just for one of the world’s most competitive EV markets.
If the brand keeps this slick, tech-heavy vibe going, the China-only range could become one of Audi’s most exciting projects yet.
