The latest superyacht concept is making waves, because it comes with a real beach on board.

Designed by Greek studio AMK Architecture & Design, The Real Beach reimagines the traditional aft deck as a sandy, sun-soaked paradise.

It’s not just inspired by nature; it is nature, recreated with soft curves, faux sand, and tropical vibes.

This is luxury yachting with your toes in the – artificial – sand.

The Real Beach completely rethinks what a beach club at sea can be.

While superyachts with spas and infinity pools are not unheard of, this vessel is different.

No longer just a sunbathing spot, this aft deck is a full sensory experience.

It features a freeform pool that curves like a natural shoreline, surrounded by tented daybeds, soft sun pads, and tropical greenery.

But what really steals the show is AMK’s ‘sand carpet’. It’s a custom surface that mimics the texture and warmth of beach sand.

At the center of the beach club is a curvy bar that is designed to look like a natural rock formation.

A gracefully arched canopy offers shade, while hidden lighting brings the whole area to life at night.

But it’s not all about looks, as sustainability is a big part of the vision.

The concept uses eco-friendly materials, like reclaimed wood, natural stone, and plant-based composites.

The ‘sand carpet’ is also a greener alternative to traditional yacht decking, so you can sip your cocktail and feel good about it, too.

The Real Beach is still a concept, like this yacht that comes with an epic underwater suite, but it’s already making waves.

It’s been shortlisted for the Interior Design – Concept Yacht Award at the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2025.

And even if it never becomes a real build, it’s sure to inspire future superyachts that aim to bring guests closer to nature.

Of course, if you prefer to maximize your chances of finding a classic car under the sand on a real beach, that’s entirely up to you.
