A megayacht that was once a billionaire’s toy has found a new owner, but only after the yacht went through a massive $20,000,000 price cut.

This massive vessel is called Here Comes the Sun after the iconic song by The Beatles, and it was designed by Winch Design in 2017 and underwent a full refit in 2021.

While some superyachts can hold their value, Here Comes the Sun struggled to do so, and it took a lof ot effort to sell it onwards to a new owner.

It was only following the massive price decrease that this megayacht was able to find a new home.

What makes this megayacht such a luxurious vessel?

Checking out the specifications, it’s easy to see why this superyacht was worth so much money.

It has enough cabins for up to 20 guests with a 27-person crew, and has a 10,000 nautical-mile range.

Luxury-wise, the yacht is packed with it.

There is a gym on the sun deck, a sauna with a steam room, plus a plunge pool, a tender garage, and even a beach club.

In 2021, the luxury megayacht went through a major refit.

This included a refreshing of its facilities, before it was put onto the market for the second time in its life.

But it took a long time for the vessel to find a new buyer.

The giant luxury ship needed a massive price drop

By the time the sale came around, the asking price for the vessel was $195,000,000.

That is a truly bewildering amount of money.

Even if you can afford something that expensive, the chances are you will want the price brought down a touch.

But at the recent sale, that price was slashed by $20 million.

The ship was sold for around $165-$170 million this time around.

The final sale of the ship was only completed earlier in January 2026.

Accepting the lower price was the only way the ship would find a buyer.

Even if it is super luxurious, the fact that it is nearly 10 years old might have been off-putting for some.

That meant a price drop was the only course of action left to take.

But even so, you still needed deep pockets to be able to afford this monster of a yacht.
