This Boeing 777X managed to make the impossible possible with a smooth, clear, vertical takeoff.

The spectacular sight took place at the Dubai Airshow, where the aircraft flew amongst an impressive lineup.

But the pilot’s skills weren’t the only impressive factor.

The aircraft actually holds a rather important title in the aviation industry.

The Boeing 777X took the Dubai Airshow by storm

This Boeing 777x proved to be a marvel in the skies as it wowed crowds at the 2025 Dubai Airshow.

The airshow took place from the 17th to the 21st of November, with a whole host of impressive aircraft on show in the UAE.

But the winning airplane turned out to be this Boeing 777X.

Thanks to sheer determination and skill from the pilot, the aircraft got itself into position and took off vertically, giving the illusion of rising straight up into the air like an arrow.

After the takeoff, the plane managed to level itself in the blue sky and continue on with its impressive display horizontally.

From afar, the Boeing gave the illusion of a graceful bird, and as Elphaba says, ‘defied gravity’ alongside science.

The display from the plane, which is known to be a highly efficient, powered by a twin engine, caused a ripple of awe throughout the group of spectators.

However, it turns out that the aircraft is no stranger to paving the way for other jets across the globe.

Here’s what the 777X really has to offer

The Boeing 777X was initially revealed to the world over 10 years ago in 2013.

The jet manufacturer explained at the time that the 77X ‘family’ exists to improve efficiency and environmental performance.

It also claimed to ‘offer the flight experience of the future’.

Inside, you can expect the cabin to be of a whole different class.

We’re talking high-class, spacious, and custom features, inspired by the Boeing 787.

The most exciting element, though?

The aircraft holds the title of the world’s largest twin-engine jet.

You can catch the airplane in action for yourself at the top of the article – prepare to be in awe of the aircraft.
