The Boeing 787 and 737 MAX are two of the most powerful planes in the skies today, and one airplane enthusiast managed to capture the two heading high up into the sky, in the ultimate vertical takeoff.

The Boeing 787 comes in three variants and can carry up to 336 passengers in one go, with a top range of 6,330 nautical miles.

The 737 MAX, on the otherhand, is described as being the ‘backbone of the global commercial airline industry’ thanks to its high-tech engineering and 20 percent reduction in emissions.

Thanks to TopFelya, the Farnborough Airshow vertical climb battle can be watched above. Brace yourself for the sheer skill of the pilots involved.
