If you fancy bagging yourself a brand new EV, you could be in luck as this new electric G-Wagen for just $3,980.
The budget EV is an alternative to the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen, but costs $100,000 less.
The electric car comes complete with a touch screen in the cabin and even a multi-function steering wheel.
However, there is a slight catch to the deal.

This brand-new electric G-Wagen could be yours for $3,980
Unless you have hundreds of thousands of dollars to play with, the electric G-Wagen is one of those cars most people can only dream of owning.
But that might not be the case anymore.

China’s budget site, Alibaba, has a brand new electric G-Wagen on offer for the small sum of $3,980.
Made by Seabisuit, this car is almost a carbon copy of the luxury Mercedes SUV.
The G-Wagen dupe may look the part and mimic the $149,400 real deal, but it can’t quite perform as well.
The top speed of the EV comes in at 45-50km/h, which won’t exactly allow you to zoom down highways.

The car does, however, have a range of 101~200 km and a hydraulic steering system along with a multi-function steering wheel and even a touch screen system, so it’s not all bad, at least.
The EV takes between eight and 10 hours to charge, or three to five hours if fast charging.

You can buy all manner of cars online at Alibaba
Supercar Blondie’s very own Nathan Bain and Sergi Galiano have actually tested a Range Rover against its Alibaba dupe and the results will have you in stitches.
They even pitted the fake against the real thing in a drag race for the ages.
Others from all corners of America have had their own experience with vehicles from the budget site too.
One man in Atlanta managed to buy new wheels from Alibaba for his BMW to save money and was over the moon with the result.
Meanwhile, another man from Washington unboxed a mini excavator from Alibaba, but wasn’t exactly stoked with what he received.
