These two buddies from California turned a childhood game into an epic Porsche drifting challenge.

Edmond Barseghian, an entrepreneur and racecar driver shared a clip of the thrilling display on his Instagram page.

What started as a game of horse on a basketball court has now been updated.

Saying it’s been updated may be understating things – the game has been taken a whole other level.

Playing a childhood game with a Porsche

We’ve seen a lot of people have fun with their cars.

For many, this can involve a drag race, which has proved to be interesting over the years.

For instance, when it came to the Cybertruck and the Hummer, it wasn’t even close.

Other upsets have come when the Model X Plaid took on the Lamborghini Huracán and when a Ram 1500 TRX joined the fray.

However, racing isn’t the only fun you can have with a car.

It may not have crossed your mind before, but you could feasibly play a game of horse with a car.

For those who aren’t aware, horse is usually a game played on a basketball court.

The aim of the game is this – each player takes turns taking shots.

When the first player lands the shot in the net, the following player attempts to duplicate it.

If done unsuccessfully, a letter is added to spell out the word ‘Horse’.

The last player remaining without spelling the word wins.

You may be wondering how exactly one would recreate this with cars.

Well, from the looks of it, it appears to be a drifting challenge with Porsches.

A case of ‘Monkey see, monkey do’, if you will.

If the track marks on the ground are anything to go by, this is a game that Edmond Barseghian and his pal enjoy playing a lot.

How did people online react to this daring drifting spectacle?

The video has picked up more than three million likes online, so it’s safe to say people were transfixed.

“This is how you drive a sports car,” one commenter said.

“The back of those Porsches look like Star Wars spaceships!” another gushed.

To see the drifting action for yourself, head over to Edmond Barseghian’s Instagram page.
