When the Bugatti Chiron and the Koenigsegg Jesko Attack faced off in a drag race, it was set to be Clash of the Titans.
These two hypercars are at the top of their game, so they’re natural rivals.
And what better way to establish superiority than a good old fashioned drag race?
But would this race end up resolving anything at all?
We’ve seen a lot of epic drag races
It’s always good fun to see the drama of a drag race unfold on a race track.
It was a race to behold when the Corvette ZR1 rolled up to the plate in an American heavyweights showdown.
Things certainly got spicy when this heavily modified McLaren 570S rose to the occasion.
And it’s not just cars that are drumming up excitement – remember this drag race with a Suzuki Hayabusa motorbike?
In this offering from Carwow, it was the battle of the hypercar giants – the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport up against the Koenigsegg Jesko Attack.
Would this be enough to separate the wheat from the chaff, so to speak?
One thing was for sure – the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport and the Koenigsegg Jesko Attack were both worthy contenders
In the first drag race, it was a comfortable win for the Chiron which left the Jesko behind with ease.
This was put down to traction issues on the Koenigsegg’s part.
But it was the second race which would really prove interesting.
Right from the get-go, it was neck and neck, making it virtually impossible to call the outcome.
It was a nailbiter in the truest sense.
Even by the time that the cars crossed the finish line, it wasn’t entirely clear which one had emerged victorious, with both logging times of 9.6 seconds.
“It was extremely close, but the slow-motion action replay shows that the Bugatti won by the narrowest margins,” the narrator revealed.
There was quite literally a hair’s difference between the two, but a victory is a victory.
