Game-changing new steering wheel of Bugatti Tourbillon
The last Bugatti Chiron was just delivered to its owner and now the Bugatti Tourbillon looks set to be a huge success, just like its predecessor.
“This is where the art of watchmaking comes into play,” says Frank Heyl, Bugatti’s director of design.
“Our research has shown that our customers are really into watches, mechanical watches,” he further added.
Now what makes this steering wheel extraordinary?
Besides its unmatched looks, it also provides better visibility and accessibility to the driver.
With a fixed hub design, drivers can easily access crucial information without any obstruction. It’s a perfect design to keep the driver focused on busy highways while having all the necessary information handy.
Attention to even the smallest details has been given to the new Bugatti Tourbillon.
“Every part, from a brake caliper to a suspension arm or some kind of bracket, has to be a piece of art, even if the customer doesn’t see it,” says the CEO of Bugatti, Mate Rimac.
A work of art by Swiss watchmakers
The groundbreaking steering wheel in the new car looks like a mechanical watch.
Now who can craft watches better than Swiss watchmakers?
Like a timeless Swiss watch, the speedometer, fuel gauge, and other instruments on the steering wheel are made from over 600 perfectly assembled pieces.
The steering wheel’s luxury goes way beyond that!
The luxury is further enhanced with polished aluminum and stones like sapphire glass and ruby.
The Bugatti Tourbillon is a masterpiece inside and out, and it will undoubtedly be an eye-catcher for famous car collectors when deliveries begin in 2026.
