This C8 Chevy Corvette took on the Tesla Model S Plaid
The C8 Chevy Corvette is the ultimate sports car on the market thanks to its seriously powerful engine.
The Corvette first hit the car scene in the early 1950s, and has gone from strength to strength since.
The C8 entered production with a mid-engine in 2020.

Now, the C8 has taken on the Tesla Model S Plaid on the track, the EV that takes the crown as the fastest Tesla model thanks to its ability to pump out over 1,000hp while running on an all-electric powertrain.

There could only be one winner
The C8 Corvette was captured edging slightly forward to line up with the Model S, but both cars looked to be about level to start the race.
As soon as the battle started, there was a clear favorite, and it won’t surprise you which brand looked to breeze the track.

But the result came with a twist.
Even though the Tesla Model S Plaid was faster at 10.63 seconds, the lights on the track seemed to deem the C8 Corvette as the winner.
Another C8 proved to go on to win another title, racing a McLaren 570S.
We should add that the C8 had a much better launch than the McLaren.
Which car would you like to call your own? Both are clearly able to get you to your destination rather quickly.
