California cops are some of the most famous police officers in the world.
Ever since its beginning in 1929, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) has patrolled the Golden State’s roads.
California is, of course, home to some of the world’s most stunning roads.
From the Pacific Coast Highway to Tioga Pass, the state is heaven for many car fanatics.
Of course, this naturally leads some people to take it too far.
The sweep and curve of these incredible roads is extremely inviting for speeding.

And California cops have a full-time job in cracking down on such offenders.
Every year, the last Monday in May marks Memorial Day Weekend in the United States.
It serves as a holiday to honor those who have lost their lives serving in the United States Armed Forces.
It also serves as an extremely busy weekend for the CHP.
Over the past weekend, CHP handed out multiple fines in the area of Santa Cruz.
Just a couple of days later, California cops handed out 34 tickets to two Porsches.
The two Porsches in question were stopped in the area of Highway 1.
It turns out that the supercars were speeding through a construction zone.
Most of California’s roads are limited to a 55MPH speed limit.
Based on some of the tickets, it appears that the Porsches were going over 70MPH.

It is unknown how expensive the fines themselves actually were.
However, based on the fact that it is in California, it can’t have been cheap.
Consider that with the fact that there are 34 of them, and you could be in real trouble.
Word of advice to the wise – do not break the speed limit in Santa Clara.
Because the California cops will find you and make you pay. Literally.
