Everybody wants to own a supercar – and it’s no surprise, really – given how slick they look.
From a Hennessey Venom to a Pagani Huayra Roadster – super swift wheels are all the rage.
But, due to their expense only a select few can afford the luxury of calling one their very own.
And this guy managed to do just that.
Proving his haters wrong
This guy proved his haters wrong after they said that he wouldn’t buy a particular motor – but just look who’s laughing now.
He proudly snapped up this suave Audi R8.
The 2010 edition came in a glorious ruby-red color, and the shine spoke for itself.
Under the hood is an impressive engine – a 5.2 litre V10, to be exact.
Plus, it boasts carbon mirrors and steel brakes.
But there’s a cherry on top, too.
It was also gated – proving it was quite literally geared up to the max.
The R8 is a force to be reckoned with.

One official Audi dealership described the R8 as ‘the pinnacle of performance, design, and handling.’
It first hit the scene when it appeared at the Paris Auto Show, almost 20 years ago in 2006 – and the name is known worldwide thanks to its popularity.
However, even though the car was delivered in a very pristine condition and was very clearly previously looked after, before it was sold on, the new owner wanted to put his own spin on the supercar.
He wanted to be able to use the car to his advantage, come rain or shine.
So, off to the garage it went to be customized straight away.

And, the finished result – for the minute – included some mods like a new battery, wheels, and a lift -gearing the car up to be a superstar supercar.
Plus, the customization journey is far from over yet.
Quite the opposite – in fact, it’s just getting started.
He has more ideas on how to further modify it, including adding bumpers and maybe even a twin-turbo setup.
So just watch this space as the R8’s journey is far from over.
