In this episode of Idiots in Cars, we have a driver who ignores all the signs and drives straight into the middle of a construction site and into a hole.

The footage, which was captured by a nearby CCTV camera, shows a man in Hi-Vis frantically waving his arms in the air trying to get the driver’s attention.

His attempt to stop what’s about to happen is futile because just two seconds later we see the car continuing forward and straight towards him.

With a massive excavator digging into the ground right in front of them, the driver plows straight into the middle of the construction site.

This is when things go from bad to worse.

For whatever reason, whether they’re on their phone or experiencing a medical episode, the driver keeps moving forward and dives nose-first straight into a massive hole in the ground.

Moments before this happens, we see a worker jumping out of the hole and scrambling out of the way with less than a second to spare.

The car finally comes to a stop with its nose in the hole and its rear end poking up into the air.

Meanwhile, the workers can be seen gathering around the car in shock.

It’s not clear what happens after the footage cuts off, but there were no reports of injuries to the driver or any of the workers.

Speaking of drivers in different universes, did you see this driver flood his car while attempting to launch a jet ski at the beach

In the video, which was also posted to the Reddit channel Idiots in Cars, a man is seen reversing his Peugeot 208 further and further into the water to launch a jet ski without realizing he’s totally flooding his car.
