Charles Leclerc and Ferrari have had a long relationship, and that very same bond has led to him customizing his fairly recent Ferrari Daytona SP3 at the automaker’s Maranello facility.

The Daytona SP3 is already as rare as performance hypercars go, but this customization was close to the F1 driver’s heart.

Why is that, you ask?

You see, the paint job on this Daytona SP3 is actually an inspirational take on some of Leclerc’s most-valued things in life.

Charles Leclerc has a new favorite color

In his mini collection of all Ferraris, Charles Leclerc had a 488 Pista Spider, which was painted in matte black with a touch of Monaco using the country’s colors as racing stripes.

This precise theme was also on his racing helmet he used while driving for the Scuderia Ferrari racing team.

It’s safe to say that he admired the existing theme, eventually customizing the new Daytona in those colors.

Obviously, it came with its own unique features, so it could stand out.

Leclerc’s new hypercar features a matte black finish, with the bright yellow logo visible on its doors.

It also has racing stripes in the colors of Monaco (red and white), topped off with a red outline on the carbon fiber parts.

Moreover, Leclerk mentioned that this Daytona SP3 is the ‘most beautiful car at the moment’ for him.

We agree there because the Daytona SP3 is an absolutely gorgeous-looking creation.

Cristiano Ronaldo owns one, too, but his ride comes with a bright red finish.

A unique Ferrari Daytona SP3

“Every Ferrari needs a little bit of red,” Leclerc said in a video shared by the Italian automaker.

That explains why his new hypercar features a red and black interior combined with the signature red brake calipers.

Although Leclerc apparently spent hours in Maranello curating this to his liking, this Ferrari Daytona SP3 will be spending some time at the Ferrari Museum.

When he gets it back, he said that he might take it to the track some day and test out the blazing 6.5-liter V12 engine.

Producing 829 horsepower, this is one of the automaker’s most capable engines ever, and it fits rightly in Leclerc’s new ride.
