The best things in life come free. But the worst things in life come cheap. That’s what these two brothers found as they bought the ‘cheapest yacht in the world’.
Even the cheaper yachts still go for a few thousand dollars, primed for a bit of work before hitting the seas again.
However, this yacht was sold at auction for a jaw-dropping price of just $150.
To little surprise though, the state of the yacht might have justified just why nobody else bid for the vessel, even at that price.

The cheapest yacht in the world instantly proves its price
Magnificent yachts are quite a joy to behold, and we’ve seen a number of these boats get turned around from wrecks to sea kings.
But this time, the job might just be too big, as YouTubers Niko Brothers bought this boat for the same price as a weekly food shop.
Well, we say the brothers bought it… one did and the other had no idea.
“I bought a new build for the channel – well I bought something I wanted. I’ve been looking at one of these and put in a few bids here and there and not tell Michael,” said Ivan
“And, I won something. It was really cheap. it was probably the cheapest biggest build we’ve ever bought.”
So, what was wrong with the boat?
Well, on an initial inspection, the boat was simply filthy.
Weeds have begun growing on the deck and in the furniture like an episode of The Last of Us.
The boat was also retaining a lot of water, where the boat was stinking with algae and mold.
Water damage was visible, with a high watermark insinuating that the problem was once slightly worse than it is now.
Furnishings were also missing from the cabin, bathroom, seating area, and master bedroom, while whatever remained had also been claimed by nature.
The ‘cheapest yacht in the world’ was really justifying its nametag.
The Niko brothers struggled to get the boat transported, as the 13,000-pound vessel was fragile, and the retained water shifted the weight.
In another installment on their channel, the boat did make it to their yard, where they found even more problems.
The engine was dead, and the plug to release the internal water was stuck, which needed drilling out.
Still, a good clean-up went a long way as the boat began to emit a glimmer of hope.
Some deeper cleans, sanding, and painting to the exterior would restore the vessel quite well.
However, this was the last we saw of the cheapest yacht in the world on this YouTube channel, and its current whereabouts are unknown.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like we’ll see this boat restored and joining the likes of Jeff Bezos in the ports of St Barth’s.
