Shedeur Sanders has been front-page news for the past couple of years.

The Cleveland Browns rookie plied his trade at the University of Colorado.

Sanders fell to the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Despite impressing in pre-season, Sanders has had to deny spending his bonus on a Rolls-Royce.

Shedeur Sanders enjoys… interesting start to pro career

Shedeur Sanders is a name more than well-known to NFL fans across America.

The Cleveland Browns rookie is the youngest of three sons of NFL legend Deion Sanders.

And his extremely young career to date has already been mired in controversy.

Following his college career with Jackson State and Buffalo, big things were expected.

In fact, Shedeur Sanders was widely expected to be a top-five pick in this year’s draft.

However, following very negative publicity, Sanders became the story of the draft for the wrong reasons.

Instead of being a top pick, Shedeur Sanders slid all the way down to the fifth round.

He would still be drafted (by the Cleveland Browns), but it was far from his dream start.

And now Shedeur Sanders has been forced to deny an extravagant purchase.

A video has been quickly going viral on Twitter/X.

It shows a dark green Rolls-Royce being delivered to a very luxurious house.

And Shedeur Sanders briefly appears on FaceTime, leading many to think the car is his.

In the video, the Cleveland Browns rookie can be heard saying, “My car get there?”

Cleveland Browns rookie forced to firmly deny the story

The Cleveland Browns rookie has been forced to firmly deny that the car is his.

Responding to NFL insider Dov Kleiman, Sanders posted this on Twitter/X.

“Another lie…I’m focused on my team not a car purchase !”.

This Rolls-Royce fuelled saga is an unwelcome distraction for the rookie.

As part of his contract with the Cleveland Browns, Sanders received a bonus of $447,380.

The rumors suggest that Sanders spent a large chunk of that on this Rolls-Royce.

Shedeur Sanders is already facing an uphill task in proving that his doubters are wrong.

Adding the purchase of an extravagant Rolls-Royce to the controversy certainly doesn’t help.

It has also come at a bad time, given how impressive Sanders has been lately.

According to reports, Cleveland Browns staff have been very impressed with Shedeur Sanders.

In particular, coaches have been impressed with his composure and poise in the pocket.

Some have even gone so far as to say that Shedeur Sanders could be the Browns’ Week One starter.

But he will have to shake the Rolls-Royce controversy before he can do any of that.
