For those who like their tech with a healthy pinch of nostalgia, take a look at the Clicks Communicator Android phone, which has a strong BlackBerry vibe and features a headphone jack.

If you grew up during the 2000s, chances are you’re pretty familiar with the BlackBerry.

The phone was initially a hit within the corporate world in the early 2000s, before gaining mass market appeal.

At its peak in 2011, BlackBerry had around 85 million users worldwide – and if you, like Eminem, were one of them, then you might be interested in the Clicks Communicator.

The Clicks Communicator has a strong retro vibe

To be clear, the phone hasn’t been created by BlackBerry.

It has been developed by Clicks, a company that previously launched physical keyboards that could be used with the iPhone

At CES 2026, Clicks announced it had gone one step further than its Power Keyboards by launching its first-ever Android phone: the Clicks Communicator.

The phone uses the Android 16 operating system and is ‘designed for doing, not doomscrolling’, according to its creator

Click centers its phone around communication and productivity, with images showing messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Slack taking the led on the screen.

The Clicks Communicator features a full QWERTY tactile keyboard and a 4.03” touch-screen display, as well as two cameras: a 50MP on the back, and a 24MP on the front.

There’s also a nifty little button on the side that allows you to quickly record voice notes and memos on the go.

The phone is 5G, WiFi and Bluetooth enabled, but for those who miss the good old days, there’s also a retro 3.5mm wired headphone jack.

You can pop in a microSD card to help boost its storage capacity, and there’s a range of changeable covers so you can switch up how it looks.

Clicks says it’s ‘too early to project battery life,’ but for what it’s worth, the phone has a 4,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery and can be charged wirelessly.

Reservations are open, and the Android phone will ship later this year

Clicks says the phone is the ‘ultimate complement to your iPhone, Galaxy or Pixel’ but that it can also work perfectly well as your primary cellphone.

You can reserve the Clicks Communicator now at an early bird price of $399.

After early bird reservations close, the phone’s price will rise to $499.

The company says the phone will start shipping later this year and that reservation holders will be invited to configure their new phone closer to production.
