Costing more than $250,000, the Lamborghini Urus is a luxury few can afford – and it turns out that filling it with gas costs just as much relatively speaking.
One YouTuber took his new ride to the gas station to fill its 19.8-gallon tank.
He predicted a ballpark figure that he felt was conservative.
And that figure was blown out of the water.

The Lamborghini Urus
According to the Italian brand, the Lamborghini Urus is the ‘first Super Sport Utility Vehicle in the world, merging the soul of a super sports car with the practical functionality of an SUV’.
Boasting a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine under the hood, it has a maximum power output of 650 horsepower.
What’s more, it is said to have the best power-to-weight ratio in the SUV segment.

One thing that isn’t in proportion? Its gas costs.
The supercar’s fuel costs
On his debut trip to the gas station with his new ride, Thach Nguyen was in for a rude awakening.
Turns out the eye-watering amount he had paid for the supercar was just the beginning.
Just like a racehorse, a car of this caliber is expensive to run and keep on the road.
“I am filling up this Lamborghini Urus this thing has almost 20 gallons and it’s almost empty,” he said.
Nguyen predicted a full tank would set him back $95-100 – which is enough of a financial hit for most car owners.
However, with five more gallons still to go the pump’s total already reached $90.
Then as the tank hit 17 gallons, the total was at a whopping $98.
With a tiny amount of gas in the tank before he started pumping, the grand total for a full tank came to $110.
Now that’s what you’d call ‘money to burn’ however, the Lamborghini Urus SE plug-in hybrid is cheaper to run.
