Soccer legend and multi-billionaire athlete Cristiano Ronaldo has confessed that he has so many supercars in his collection that he genuinely doesn’t know how many he owns.
Even at the ripe age of 40 years old, ‘CR7’ is still the highest-paid soccer player on the planet.
Reportedly earning $280 million a year at his Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, the Portuguese forward might not be in his prime anymore, but his reputation and instinct alone have kept him as a stellar threat on the pitch.
But off it, he’s the face of the beautiful game, and he’s been putting his wealth to good use with so many cars he can’t even remember them all.

‘Money doesn’t matter,’ says Cristiano Ronaldo as he unravels his billionaire purchases
With unrivaled earnings in sport, Ronaldo has been known to buy some very luxurious things.
In a new interview with Piers Morgan, though, Ronaldo revealed that he doesn’t care about money anymore.
“When you reach some level, the money doesn’t matter anymore, in my opinion. But it’s always good to have more because we are human beings,” he said.

In fact, he sees himself as a normal person who only spends money because he doesn’t have a normal reputation.
“I think I’m a normal person. I don’t spend money. For example, I don’t go shopping. If I go anywhere, I can buy whatever I want, but I don’t need that anymore,” he continued.
When quizzed on his most expensive purchase, Cristiano Ronaldo detailed his new jet – a $75M Gulfstream with some wild customizations – but claimed he only bought it out of necessity.
“I buy [a plane] because I need it, because I’m not a normal person. I cannot be in airports. I buy because of that.”
Then, there’s his supercar collection.

We know Ronaldo is prone to getting behind the wheel every once in a while.
And we know for sure that he’s got quite a taste for rare Bugatti cars.
However, he claims that most of his cars are now nothing but trophies in another collection, and he’s lost count of how many he has… typically.
So many supercars that he can’t even count them
Hot off the back of a brand-new Bugatti Tourbillon, which was added to his collection this week, Cristiano Ronaldo told Morgan about his supercar collection and its purpose.
“Let’s say three days ago I bought a car, it’s for a collection. It’s like you buy a frame. I’m not going to drive that car. It’s an investment.”
One of his most recent purchases was an ultra-rare Ferrari Daytona SP3, adding more luxury to his garage. But how large that garage is, is now anyone’s guess.
He doesn’t even know himself.
“I don’t know… maybe 50. 60. I don’t know. 41, 40. I don’t know,” he said.
“Yesterday I drove home with my new BMW, but I’ve not driven like in Saudi Arabia in like six months.”
Funnily enough, this is the same attitude deployed by Lewis Hamilton, although he’s just sold all of his cars to fund a new and surprising investment venture.
