An enterprising YouTuber completely butchered a damaged Model 3 in order to create a ‘sexier’ version that he’s described as the ‘Cyber Roadster’.
The designers at Tesla are no stranger to controversy, but this interpretation might even give Elon Musk second thoughts.
You might love it, you might hate it.
One thing is for sure, you’re going to have an opinion on it.

The ‘Cyber Roadster’ started life as a Tesla Model 3
This Franken-Tesla is the brainchild of YouTuber Cyber Hooligan, and he’s clearly trying to catch the attention of the world’s richest man with this one.
After all, Elon Musk is known to comment on modded versions of his cars, even ones that are made entirely out of wood.
The good news is that Cyber Hooligan didn’t butcher a brand-new Model 3 for this creation – instead, he took one that was already wrecked and gave it a new life.
It’s no mean feat to rescue a car that has been in a serious collision, as the guy who restored Marcus Rashford’s Mansory Rolls-Royce discovered.
However, to create something this – let’s say – unique is another challenge altogether.
Firstly, he’d have had to make damn sure that the battery was OK or replace it with one that was.
After all, those things can definitely cause problems – seriously fiery problems – if they aren’t in good working order.
In the end, what we’re left with is something that looks a bit more sleek than the Model 3, whilst retaining a few of the original features, like the front doors.
If you’re a Tesla aficionado, it probably leaves you feeling slightly confused.
It’s both familiar and unfamiliar at the same time, much like another modded Model 3 we’ve recently encountered.
The Franken-Tesla designed to turn heads
Cyber Hooligan crafted the body himself, and it’s hard to say that he hasn’t done a good job on it, it just looks slightly uncanny.
Luckily, he was able to capture a few reactions from the public as he cruised around in his Cyber Roadster, thanks to the magic of 360 camera technology.
It’s fair to say that some of the passers-by were a little perplexed.
Fans love the Model 3’s transformation
Meanwhile, in the comments section, most people were absolutely blown away by his efforts.
“Simply the best looking home built creation I have ever seen. Better than 99% of ‘kit-cars’ I have ever looked at,” gushed one observer.
“No odd lines or cheap looking elements. And the paint quality is the chefs kiss. You should be over-the-moon proud of this accomplishment. OMG, it is beautiful.”
Another wrote: “This is exceptionally aesthetically pleasing and the most impressive individual construction I have ever witnessed.”
A third simply said: “This might be the best looking car I’ve ever seen.”
High praise indeed.
We’ll have to wait and see what Elon thinks about it, but we can almost guarantee he’ll think it’s ‘nice’.
