Increasing safety levels by 50 percent in the event of a frontal impact compared to conventional forward-facing car seats equipped with a 5-point harness system*, CYBEX Anoris T2 i-Size represents a state-of-the-art innovative solution set to take child safety standards to the next level.

The team at Supercar Blondie decided to put it to the ultimate test.

The test

Supercar Blondie’s Sergi Galiano visited the CYBEX headquarters based in Bayreuth, Germany to meet with the team and the engineers behind the creation of the Anoris T2 i-Size at the brand’s Safety Center.

They placed the car seat in a crash test simulator that replicates a frontal impact collision with an acceleration from 0-70 km/h (0-44 mph) in just over 1.3 meters (4.3 ft).

The results are impressive with the child crash test dummy protected thanks to the C-shaped airbag built into the impact shield that inflates to protect the head, neck, and body.

How CYBEX Anoris T2 i-Size car seat works

Released to the global market in April 2024, Anoris T2 i-Size is the successor of the 2021 ADAC test winner Anoris T i-Size, which was awarded an unprecedented overall rating of 1.5 ‘very good’.

Anoris T2 has the highest safety standards, making it 50 percent safer than a conventional forward-facing harness car seat*.

Nevertheless, comfort is always key for little passengers.

The compact One-Click impact shield, which is smaller than its predecessor, features in fact an eight depth-adjustment setting that can be fit with one hand by the parents, and promises full freedom of movement with no weight pressing down on the young travelers.

Buckling with a no-nonsense single-click precision fastening, on and off-boarding and avoiding tantrums suddenly becomes easier.

Built for the next generation of discerning parents, the updated and improved car seat technology delivered in Anoris T2 is designed for children aged 15 months to seven years, therefore providing three extra years of growing room than most conventional child seats and one year more than in the previous model.

Anoris T2 is priced at 799,95€ and is available in five adult, child, and stain-friendly shades – now that is something every parent can appreciate.
