Daniel Craig will reprise his role as Benoit Blanc in the upcoming Netflix film Glass Onion: a Knives Out Mystery.

And just like he did during his 15-year tenure as James Bond, Craig will be wearing an Omega.

In the film, Daniel Craig plays a blue-eyed, Tweed-wearing detective called Benoit Blanc.

Blanc is smart and flamboyant, combining his Sherlok Holmes-like ability to read the room with a surprisingly thick Southern accent.

In a line from the first movie, his accent is described as a “Kentucky Fried Foghorn Leghorn Drawl”.

With his unique acting style and some daring wardrobe choices, Daniel Craig has already made this character iconic.

And, just like James Bond, Benoit Blanc wears an Omega.

Partly because the watch looks great in the film, and also because Daniel Craig is a brand ambassador for Omega.

The watch in question is an Omega Seamaster 1948 Small Seconds.

It looks like a vintage watch but it’s actually a new release.

The name is a nod to the original Seamaster from 1948.

It is made from stainless steel and limited to 1,948 pieces.

And with a price tag of $6,900, it is more affordable than you think.

Not a bad deal for an Omega watch featured in a Daniel Craig movie.

About Knives Out

The first Knives Out movie was filmed in just three months on a relatively small budget.

It was a huge commercial hit, and both fans and critics loved it.

About a year ago, Netflix paid a whopping $469 million for the rights to two standalone sequels.

Both sequels will be directed by Rian Johnson (Breaking Bad, Star Wars: The Last Jedi) and both will star Daniel Craig as the main character Benoit Blanc.

The first of two sequels, titled Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, will premiere on Netflix on December 23, 2022.

Aside from Craig as Blanc, it stars Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista and Hugh Grant.
