Drake might have Started From The Bottom with an Acura, but his Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir is the gem of his enviable car collection.

And even its ‘STARTED’ license plate reflects that.

In 2010, the singer-rapper. put down a pile of his Thank Me Later money for a Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir.

$2.2 million to be exact.

With only 15 ever made – it’s an exceedingly rare supercar.

And, of course, that only adds to the appeal – and the price.

The unusual model has a deep black finish and eye-catchingly cool orange leather interior.

The Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir was inspired by the Bugatti Type 57S Atlantic from the mid-1930s.

It not only features an 8.0-litre quad turbocharged W16 engine – it also puts out 987bhp.

To put that into acceleration context: it’s capable of hitting 0-97 km/h (0-62 mph) inside 2.5 seconds.

Past that it would keep gaining speed to its upper limit of 70.3 km/h (253 mph).

A Canadian, Drake snapped up the only Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir north of the US border.

And while Justin Bieber might only have been 16 at the time, rumor has it he was pretty jealous of his fellow Canadian.

However, 6God soon got bored with it and put it up for sale in 2014.

It might be the baad vibes he got from it featuring in Child’s Play.

The lyrics said: “You wildin’, you super childish.

“You go to CVS for Kotex in my Bugatti.”

However while he might have attempted to sell it, a more recent Instagram post suggests the supercar is still in his possession.

He’s also been known to give away beautiful cars to his fans – talk about a Rich Flex.

And while this Bugatti is beautiful – we can’t ignore the rest of Drake’s fleet.

It includes a Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible, Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Mercedes-Benz SRL McLaren, Brabus 850 and Rolls-Royce Wraith.

We’re not done.

He also has a Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman, Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren 675LT, Lamborghini Aventador LP-700-4 Roadster, Bentley Mulsanne, Devel Sixteen, and a Mansory Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Phew.

All Supercar Blondie contributors undergo editorial review and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and authority in automotive journalism. After gaining her BA Hons in French and English at the University of Nottingham, Amelia embarked on a vocational diploma from the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ). This led to numerous opportunities, from interning at Vogue to being on the small team that launched Women’s Health magazine in the UK, which was named the PPA Consumer magazine of the year for three years running. As Health, Beauty and Fitness editor, Amelia personally received a Johnson & Johnson Award and was shortlisted for both PPA and BSME titles. Since then, Amelia has created content for numerous titles and brands, including the Telegraph, 111 Skin, Waitrose, Red magazine, Stylist, and Elle, as well as being Head of Content at Vitality and Editor in Chief at INLondon magazine. “My superpower is translating technical jargon about the mechanical workings of a supercar into a relatable story you’ll want to share with your friends after you’ve read it.” After joining the SB Media family as a senior journalist in September of 2023, Amelia’s role has evolved to see her heading up the SEO output of the editorial team. From researching the most ‘Google-able’ key terms to producing evergreen content - it’s been a time of hard work, growth, and success for the editorial team and the Supercar Blondie website. “I like to think of myself as a ‘method journalist’. In other words: I live and breathe whatever I am writing about. When writing about fitness, I trained as a personal trainer, and as a beauty editor, I completed an ‘expert’ in scent diploma with the Fragrance Foundation. “During my tenure at Supercar Blondie, however, I did something I never thought possible: I passed my driving test at the age of 36. One day I’d love to train as a mechanic to better understand what happens under the hood, too. “My sweet spot is providing readers with a ‘takeaway’ (read: something new they didn’t know before) after reading every one of my stories. While I don’t claim to be an expert in the automotive world, I know the experts and bodies in the field to rely on to provide our readers with an informative and thought-provoking story every time they visit the site.”
