A driver shared his honest opinion after driving a Tesla Model 3 for 200,000 miles, admitting that it was the ‘lowest maintenance car’ he’d ever owned.

The driver bought the Model 3 SR+ in early 2021 with just 20 miles on the clock.

He’s since added more than 202,000 miles to the clock in just four years.

But despite racking up some serious miles, he’s been left impressed by how well the car has held up.

The Tesla owner says it’s the ‘lowest maintenance car’ he’s ever had

With EVs becoming more popular the world over, we’re seeing plenty of folks who have made the switch sharing their views and experiences.

The owner of a Tesla Model 3 in North Carolina recently broke down the true cost and revealed why he thinks it’s the best purchase he’s ever made, while this man shared his thoughts after six years of owning his EV

Over on Reddit, the owner of a Tesla Model 3 has given his honest opinion after doing more than 200,000 miles in it.

The Redditor drives his car a lot for work, so he has amassed a serious number of miles in just four years.

However, he’s been left surprised by how well the car has fared during that time.

“Battery was replaced at 80,000 miles when an error message popped up saying the battery needed replacing and was 100 percent covered by the warranty,” he wrote before adding that although the battery was flagged as ‘bad,’ he hadn’t experienced any problems with it.

Aside from that, he has been through ‘a ton of tires’ and needs to clean the air conditioning condenser every three weeks during warmer weather – and that’s it.

He went on to say he was still on the same brake pads and had had ‘no other issues with the car’.

“By far, lowest maintenance car I have ever owned,” he wrote.

Fellow Tesla owners agreed with him

In the comments, plenty of other Tesla owners agreed that it was the lowest maintenance car they’d ever driven.

“Have very similar experience, but without the need to replace the battery (or anything actually),” said one.

“Got my 2021 around the same time,” someone else commented.

“March. 115k on it. Need nothing but tires. Battery health is at 83 percent. I drive it hard and Supercharge often.”

Meanwhile, others were just impressed by the sheer number of miles he had managed to hit in four years.
