The Dubai Police Department took to X to share a couple of images of the latest addition to their already varied and valuable fleet, a Cybertruck.

The post did the rounds on X and attracted thousands of retweets, likes, and comments, including one from Elon Musk himself.

Mind you, Elon Musk’s response was cryptic, to say the least.

Elon Musk runs a bunch of different companies but he clearly still spends even more time on X after acquiring it for a record fee.

To be fair, he’s the first to admit he probably ‘overpaid’ for it.

Nothing escapes him, though.

If you’re sharing something that even remotely concerns or involves Tesla, he’s probably going to respond, as the guy who built a Cybertruck out of wood can confirm.

As for the Dubai Police Cybertruck, Musk simply replied ‘cool’, adding the emoji with sunglasses.

The eccentric fleet of cars of the Dubai Police Department

Dubai Police officers famously use all kinds of supercars, from ‘stock’ supercars such as the Artura, to heavily customized cars like the Mansory P720.

It’s fascinating to see how the Cybertruck still stands out, even when compared to these wild (and wildly expensive) supercars.

It’s probably down to the styling, which is like nothing the world had ever seen before, and the absurd hype around it.

Even six months after the unveiling, it still hasn’t died down.

A Cyberbeast for police officers

Dubai opted for a Cyberbeast, the most powerful and fastest Cybertruck available.

Coming in with 340 miles of range and an outlandish 0-60 time of just 2.6 seconds, the Cyberbeast can easily keep up with pretty much any other car Dubai Police use.

Style-wise, the truck is finished in the flagship colors of the Dubai Police, green and white, with a siren on the roof and additional lights at the front.

Get ready for the inevitable swathe of pictures and videos that will no doubt appear on social media, probably especially Instagram, in the coming days.
